How Travwizards began
Travwizards was born from a simple insight: the best travel advice comes from people who truly know a destination. Not from an algorithm, not from a travel agent with a brochure — but from someone who has lived there, travelled there, and knows what other guides won't tell you.
Ger Swinkels founded Travwizards in 2016 with one goal: connecting travellers with the specialist who knows their destination the way they know their own neighbourhood. Since then, over 300 experts have joined — all self-employed specialists who share their knowledge on a platform that presents them as they are: expert, personal and unique.
Today Travwizards is more than a platform. It is a community of travellers and experts who believe that the most memorable journeys begin with an honest conversation. No commissions, no pressure, no packages — just the right introduction.
